Irish Moss Sunrise Smoothie

Begin your morning with a fruity, refreshing cleansing smoothie and receive all the healthy benefits of fruit.

Serves 8 oz | 15 Mins

Ingredients

1/2 Cup Strawberry

1/3 Cup Mango

1/3 Cup Berries (Blackberries or Blueberries)

1 Banana *(ripened)

Coconut Milk or Oat Milk* (vegan milk alternative can be used or spring water)

1 tsp of Irish Moss powder

Directions

Begin by adding the milk to your blender, followed by the banana. Add the rest of the fruit. Frozen or fresh fruit works well when making a smoothie however frozen fruit will result in a wonderful creamy consistency. I like to blend for about 2 mins, until smooth. I then add the Irish Moss powder, I pulse about 2 times then blend for another minute and it’s done! I know you’ll enjoy this simple yet healthy and delicious smoothie.

I love parfaits, there’s just something about the layering of delicious fresh fruit with light fluffy yogurt and crunchy granola that I never get tired of. It’s the perfect way to break your fast. Blackberries have antioxidant properties and assist greatly with elimination and rebuilding our bodies. Try this recipe as a breakfast or snack, we know you’ll enjoy!

1 Serving | 15 minutes

Ingredients

3/4 cups coconut yogurt

3 tbs cocoa granola (or any flavor granola)

1/4 cup strawberries

1/4 cup blackberries

1 tbs coconut shreds

1/2 tbs cashew butter

Directions

  1. Place yogurt in a bowl or wide glass jar.

  2. Add granola.

  3. Be sure to carefully wash fruit and dry.

  4. Slice strawberries in halves or fourths, add to bowl.

  5. Add blackberries.

  6. Sprinkle coconut shreds on top and drizzle cashew butter on top or place a dollop on the side.
